Funding legal education

As a global partner and official sponsor of the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition International Rounds, our financial support to the International Law Students Association underwrites, in part, the administration of the competition worldwide and enabled teams from Uganda, The Bahamas and Guyana to attend the 2012 International Rounds.

Other legal education support included the following scholarship programs and donations to advance the study of law:
 
  • White & Case Annual Business Law Scholarship to enable law students in France to study abroad (Paris)
  • The Kazakhstan Institute of Management to fund an LLM scholarship and a commercial law library in memory of White & Case partner Yuriy Maltsev
  • The Kidu Foundation of the Kingdom of Bhutan to fund the White & Case Scholarship to support one Bhutanese student pursuing LLB study at an Indian law school and Berkeley Center for Law and Technology for general support (Silicon Valley)
  • Stanford Law School Law, Science & Technology Affiliates Program for general support (Silicon Valley)
